The conference will be organized for a 3-days period, dated 25-27 May 2025 in Toronto, Canada and allowing participants of various walks of life who have human rights and social justice in mind, from around the globe.

Directions by Car:

Here are driving directions from Toronto Pearson International Airport to the Canadian Convention Centre in Brampton:

  1. Start from Toronto Pearson International Airport:

    • Head onto Airport Road by following the airport's exit signs for Highway 409 or Airport Road.

  2. Take Airport Road North:

    • Drive north on Airport Road, which leads directly toward Brampton.

  3. Join Queen Street East/Highway 7:

    • Turn left (west) onto Queen Street East/Highway 7, heading toward Brampton.

  4. Reach the Canadian Convention Centre:

    • The Canadian Convention Centre is located at 79 Bramsteele Road, off Queen Street East. Look for Bramsteele Road near the Queen Street and Rutherford Road intersection.

This route is about 15-20 kilometers and should take approximately 20-25 minutes by car, depending on traffic conditions. The Convention Centre is easily accessible from Pearson Airport via major roads

Visa:

Find out if you need a Travel visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization to travel to Canada – not both – by answering a few questions on the Government of Canada website  HERE. In doing so, you will be advised on what entry document(s) you will need to travel to Canada based on your particular situation.

 

The entry document you need depends on:

  • the type of travel document you plan to travel with

  • the country that issued your travel document

  • your nationality

  • how you’ll travel to Canada for this trip

 

Visitor Travel Visa:

A visitor visa is an official document that is put in your passport and shows that you meet the requirements needed to travel to Canada. It is valid up to 6 months pending on your particular situation.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA):

An eTA is an entry requirement for visa-exempt foreign nationals travelling to Canada by air. An eTA is electronically linked to a traveller’s passport and valid up to five years or until the passport expires, which ever comes first. If you get a new passport, you will need to get a new eTA. An eTA does not guarantee entry to Canada. When you arrive, a border services officer will ask to see your passport and other documents.

Transit Visa and ESTA for the USA:

If you travel through the USA (transit) to reach Canada, please note that an ESTA or an USA Transit VISA is also required.

If you need a letter of invitation from us at Sahayatra please first register online to Sahayatra Events and send us an email to info@sahayatraintl.com with subject “Request for Letter Invitation” and provide proof of payment.

Please Note:

If you need a Visitor Travel Visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) you must apply online at the Government of Canada website. Your application will be assessed in accordance with the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and its related Regulations.

 

We strongly advise all participants and authors to register for the Congress and apply for their VISA as soon as possible, as the process is lengthy! 

 

An appointment for a Biometrics check is required before the VISA offices can start processing your application. Please take into account the time required for this process.
